Description Heike Abt was born in Chile with Czech roots and grew up in Upper Bavaria. Intercultural interfaces have therefore accompanied her all her life in her private life and for the last 25 years also professionally in research, teaching and application in personnel and organisational development. Her interest in global understanding has inspired her to spend time abroad and to teach intercultural competence in companies, public authorities and social institutions. Her psychological perspective enables her to analyse how people think, feel and act in intercultural situations and, together with the participants in her events, to develop alternative courses of action that enable them to reach their goals together, successfully and with satisfaction. As managing partner at the Institute for Cooperation Management, which was founded at the University of Regensburg by Prof. Dr. Dr. Alexander Thomas, among others, she is involved in both science and practice on various intercultural topics. As a new member of SIETAR, she would now like to introduce herself and contribute to the BarCamp 2022.

Linda Hagen

Linda Hagen

Description Linda Hagen holds a degree in business administration and has gained a wide range of experience in the intercultural environment in the course of her work as a senior project / programme manager, executive and through longer stays abroad, including as an expatriate (France, England and America) in more than 20 years. She has led and supported a large number of restructuring, change, process optimisation and offshoring projects, particularly in the field of global banking. Intercultural cooperation with people from different backgrounds is a great enrichment for Linda Hagen and so she decided to expand her education in the field of intercultural training and completed the training to become a Certified Intercultural Business Trainer and Moderator in the summer of 2020. She then founded XculturalWorking and offers customised intercultural trainings and workshops in which she is happy to share her knowledge. As an open, solution-oriented trainer and facilitator with strong communication skills for multinational / virtual process- and project-oriented cooperation with a focus on cross-cultural awareness, Linda Hagen shows how to develop strategies to minimise frictional losses in the context of intercultural cooperation. For Linda Hagen, SIETAR is a wonderful platform for exchange with qualified colleagues, SIETAR inspires and offers a variety of creative possibilities. In the area of board work, Linda Hagen is the contact person for SIETAR Europe, the organisation of the virtual BarCamp 2022 and the mentoring programme.

Chiara Marchi

Profession/Education Certified intercultural coach (University of Jena), Interculturalist (University of Applied Sciences Munich) and Romance Studies (LMU)

Description As an intercultural coach, Chiara Marchi (re)orients people in the work environment who are looking for ways to find their way. As a human being, she is dedicated to the other as an individual in their unique and inimitable nature. She feeds on stories, anecdotes, perspectives and cultural exchanges with fates that intersect with her own. For her, language is the gateway to everyone's cultural world. She has been a member of SIETAR for some time and has also often participated in intercultural projects or debates on global issues through her studies in intercultural communication and Romance languages. Now she is involved in the organisation of the BarCamp in order to contribute to the development of an interpersonal exchange that can lead to the personal development of the individual.

Ghotai Sardehi-Nurzai

Ghotai Sardehi-Nurzai

Profession/Education Certified Intercultural Trainer (DGIKT)

Description Ghotai Sardehi-Nurzai is a trained business economist and journalist. Her qualification as an intercultural trainer goes back a long way. As the child of diplomat parents, she grew up in several cultures. The differences between cultures have preoccupied her since her earliest childhood: she was born in Afghanistan, spent her childhood in the Czech Republic and has lived in Germany since her youth. She has worked in international companies and has been involved in numerous projects. Due to her diverse language skills and sensitivity for the language of diplomacy, she has also worked as an interpreter. She speaks German, Russian, English, Pashto, Farsi and has basic knowledge of Czech and Urdu. She designs trainings for companies and organisations that want to better understand cultural differences in order to gain more profit and joy from international encounters, to further develop and sustainably strengthen global relations. As regional director of SIETAR Deutschland e.V., she provides impulses on intercultural topics.

Agnieszka Vojta

Agnieszka Vojta

Profession/Education Officer in the International Office of the University of Konstanz

Description As an officer in the International Office of the University of Konstanz, Agnieszka Vojta coordinates the diverse cooperation with Central and Eastern European partner universities and has many years of experience in various international projects and formats. She attaches particular importance to cooperation at eye level, with appreciation of diversity and consideration of the different perspectives. As a passionate intercultural trainer, she prepares students for stays abroad and sensitises academics to intercultural issues. Her goal is to increase cultural awareness and improve cooperation in multicultural teams. She volunteers as a parent mentor and language mediator. She is a member of SIETAR-Germany and SIETAR-Polska since 2020.

Marie-Kristin Gottlieb

Marie-Kristin Gottlieb

Profession/Education Student at the University of Regensburg/ Intern at SIETAR Deutschland e.V.

Description Marie-Kristin Gottlieb is a Bachelor student at the University of Regensburg. She is studying Media Studies and American Studies in the fifth semester. She is also taking an additional course in gender competence. In her studies as well as in her private life, Marie-Kristin is interested in various intercultural and political topics and is very motivated for the SIETAR BarCamp 2022. As an intern at SIETAR Deutschland e.V., she supports the team in the organisation, conception and marketing of the BarCamp 2022.
